FEBR Technician (Jr)


FE/BR Doors and Window Technician at various Overseas locations. Must have experience with installation of Forced Entry Ballistic Resistant Doors and Windows and is familiar with US Embassy/OBO standards for construction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demolishes and prepares rough openings for replacement FE/BR doors and windows.
  • Uncrates, QC inspects, and stages new products per manufacturer's requirements.
  • Prepares, augments, and installs replacement FE/BR sub-frames, embeds, doors and windows.
  • Removes and replaces glazing panels and seals.
  • Installs door hardware, ADA components, pumps and power supplies.
  • Tests and commissions.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-14 years related carpentry, welding, or general construction experience required.
  • 1 to 14 years of FE/BR experience.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team.
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.

Certifications

  •  HTSOS Certification
  • FE/BR Manufacturer Installation Certifications(FDI, Ross, Habersham, Norshield)

Security Clearances

  • Clearance Level : SECRET Required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
